About Supplies to Please
Our History
In 2006, Supplies to Please was founded by two moms, Michelle Honig and Joanne Williams, as a way to eliminate the frustration and endless hours spent school supply shopping and to guarantee that their children had all the exact items requested by their teachers. Michelle’s law experience and Joanne’s 25+ years working in corporate America complemented each other and formed the basis for a successful partnership. In 2022 Michelle retired and Sue Blenke, a mom and one of our former PTA representatives, joined the partnership, adding her master’s degree and finance background into the mix.
Since our start, Supplies to Please has provided almost 100,000 prepackaged school supply kits to public and private school students throughout New York and Connecticut. Our growth comes primarily from word of mouth recommendations and referrals from satisfied schools and parents. Our familiarity with the needs of competitive school districts, our reputation for personalized customer service and attention to detail, and the quality and affordability of our supply kits sets us apart from our competition.
Our PTA contacts are thrilled not only with the flexibility of our programming and quality of supplies received, but also with our accessibility, prompt responsiveness and understanding of their needs. They know they can rely upon Supplies To Please to provide students with all of their exact, teacher requested supplies, through a program that demands little volunteer time and is easy to run.
